Volunteering with the RDA and YELA

Having fun volunteering at my local stables.

In the summer holiday I started volunteering for my local stables helping with Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings. I did this for a week or so and then the lady who runs it suggested I should start YELA (Young Equestrian Leaders Award – an equestrian award quite like D of E).

For bronze I have to complete 20+ hours of volunteering and then complete a questionnaire. I am about half way through now and I also have my own YELA shirt!
